The largest queues are observed in the direction of Krakovets and Yagodin checkpoints.
On the Ukrainian-Polish border, Polish farmers continue to block all six directions. The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andrei Demchenko announced this on March 3 during a telethon.
“As of this morning, cumulatively, more than 2,400 cargo vehicles are waiting in queues in all these directions on the territory of Poland towards Ukraine,” he said.
According to Demchenko, the biggest queue is observed in the direction of Krakovets and Yagodin checkpoints, where at the last checkpoint trucks are allowed only in the direction of Ukraine, and in the past 24 hours 70 vehicles have passed.
“Let me remind you that Yagodin is the largest infrastructure direction, where 1200-1400 trucks can cross the border in both directions. Currently, only cargo vehicles heading to Ukraine are allowed to pass… Not a single truck crosses the border to Poland, because they are not allowed to pass through,” said a representative of the State Border Guard Service.
He added that the protesters were not blocking traffic for other categories of transportation, including cars and buses.
Earlier it was reported that the Shegini checkpoint was completely blocked by Polish farmers.
We remind you that Polish farmers have been blocking the Ukrainian border for several weeks. They do not allow trucks to pass through the checkpoint, and also destroy Ukrainian agricultural products.
