The number of victims of the Russian attack in the city has increased to three people. Rescuers unearthed a man’s body from the rubble. The search and rescue operation continues. The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, announced this on March 2 on Telegram.
The Office of the Prosecutor General informed that rescuers recovered the body of a child, tentatively 3-5 years old, from under the rubble of the house. The Odessa city council reported that they are still looking for the child’s mother.
Earlier this morning, rescuers managed to rescue a living man from under the rubble. At the time the enemy drone hit, he was in the basement. The rescued man is conscious and is being examined by doctors. In general, save five people, including a child.
Let us remind you that on the night of March 2, the enemy attacked Odessa with eight attack drones of the “Shahed” type from the Black Sea. Air defense units destroyed seven drones.
However, one drone, while maneuvering among residential areas, hit a nine-story building and destroyed 18 apartments.
