Already in the summer, these UAVs could be delivered to the Ukrainian defense forces. The order concerns 100 of these attack drones. French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu announced this on the social network X.
As part of an innovation program, France is ordering 100 remotely controlled munitions from Delair, which will arrive in Ukraine this summer, the report says.
According to him, in total, the French government plans to order 2 thousand kamikaze drones for Ukraine. At the same time, the screw did not specify which UAV models will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As you know, Delair produces several models of reconnaissance drones with a flight range from 8 to 100 km. Drones are typically designed to perform information gathering, monitoring and reconnaissance missions.
The published photos indicate the Delair DT46 model. This UAV can fly about 100 km and carry a load of up to 5 kg, while it is capable of landing in fully autonomous mode on an area measuring 80 by 20 m.
Let us remind you that the Netherlands purchased nine DITA self-propelled artillery systems from the Czech Republic, and subsequently they will be sent to Ukraine. These weapons are part of a large order from Amsterdam to Kyiv, which will be provided by Czech arms manufacturers.
