The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense admitted that this is a serious problem, and that the necessary measures are being taken now.

Ukraine’s special services have evidence that Russia knows about the offensive plans of the Defense Forces in 2023. The head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said this in an interview with CBC News.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine commented in this way on the recent statement of President Vladimir Zelensky that the plans for the offensive “came to the Kremlin before it even started.”

Let’s remember that the head of state also said that Ukraine has a military action strategy for the current year and there will be several more scenarios against the backdrop of the possibility of information leakage.

Budanov added that he did not intend to say more than the head of state.

“We had, let’s say, information, evidence that the Russian Federation knew about the plans. This is a serious problem, and we are taking (certain – ed.) measures,” the intelligence official said.

Let’s remember that the Presidential Intelligence Committee warned Ukrainians about a large-scale Russian special operation on the territory of our country called Maidan-3.

The main purpose of the Russian operation was to sow opinions about the illegitimacy of the Ukrainian authorities.
