The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this today, February 29.
According to preliminary data, as a result the enemy suffered the following losses:
- 19 dead occupiers, including the deputy commander of a Russian military unit;
- 12 wounded invaders, including the commander of this unit.
Yesterday, February 28, ex-people’s deputy and collaborator Oleg Tsarev published a message in his Telegram channel that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit Russian fighters with HIMARS MLRS during the award ceremony. Tsarev did not give any details.
At the same time, reports appeared in Russian Telegram channels that on the evening of February 27, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the gathering place of personnel of the 155th separate brigade of the Russian Marines in the village of Olenevka, Donetsk region. The data on losses cited by the Russians coincides with the number of destroyed Russian fighters indicated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
