Ukrainian special forces ensured the withdrawal of the main forces of the group after the completion of the combat mission.

Soldiers of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed in a clash with Russian invaders during a combat mission. The Ukrainian MTR Command reported this on Thursday, February 29.

It was noted that the Ukrainian special forces ensured the withdrawal of the main forces of the group after the completion of the combat mission.

“The heroic and highly complex combat work of MTR units on land, at sea and deep behind enemy lines is the daily contribution of MTR soldiers to victory over the enemy. Always remember if how much our freedom gives,” the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces emphasized.

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate said that Colonel Oleg Babiy died during a combat mission. His group destroyed one bomber and disabled two others over Russian territory in August.
