Russian invaders today, February 28, shelled the Pokrovsky and Bakhmutsky districts of the Donetsk region, resulting in deaths and injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.
The following incidents were recorded:
- At about 06.30 the Russian army launched an airstrike on the village. Desired Pokrovsky district. The weapon hit one of the streets where a 62-year-old local resident was walking at the time. The woman was hospitalized with a head injury and a fracture;
- As a result of rocket attacks in the city of Kurakhovo, a 22-year-old saleswoman of a shopping pavilion was injured. She was taken to a medical facility with a traumatic brain injury and concussion;
- at 15.00 the enemy attacked, probably with an FPV drone, the city of Chasov Yar, where a 40-year-old man was injured multiple times near a car;
- An hour later the enemy struck the city of Seversky. As a result, a 69-year-old local resident received injuries incompatible with life, who at the time of the attack was not far from her own home. The type of weapons used by the Russians is being established.
A pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).
