The country’s air defense did not detect a single Russian UAV in Moldovan airspace during the attack on Ukraine on the night of February 27. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, Deschide.MD reports.
Due to the alleged risk of a drone penetrating into the space of the Republic of Moldova, we inform you that not a single drone launched by the Russian Federation this evening across Ukraine crossed the territory of the Republic of Moldova, the statement said.
The department added that Ukraine confirmed to Chisinau that all drones launched over the Odessa region were destroyed or jammed by Ukrainian air defense systems.
Let us remind you that on the night of February 27, Russia launched attack drones across Ukraine. The end of the UAV threat was recorded at 22:43, but already at 23:11 the Air Force warned about the movement of unknown drones towards Khmelnitsky from the border with Moldova.
