First, they sent Kh-31P anti-radar missiles from tactical aircraft from the Black Sea to the Odessa region. This was reported today, February 25, in the Telegram channel of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine.
Both missiles were destroyed by air defense forces.
Subsequently, two waves of drone attacks occurred, more than two hours apart:
- first, kamikaze drones of the “Shahed-131/136” type were sent from Crimea in the direction of the Dnepropetrovsk region through the Nikolaev region and the Kherson region;
- in the next wave, drones tried to slip through the temporarily occupied Kherson region into the central regions and then proceed to the west.
But our air defense units inflicted an effective defeat along their route. As a result, 6 UAVs were destroyed: 3 in the Nikolaev region, 2 in the Kirovograd region, 1 in the Kherson region, the message states. – No hits allowed.
