He said that the Russians are constantly dropping guided bombs from planes, using FPV drones and firing artillery at Ukrainian defenders.
The General Staff stated that on February 24, in the Avdeevsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Lastochkino, Severnoye, Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye.
Meanwhile, the DeepState resource on Telegram reported that the Russian army has occupied Lastochkino and continues to put pressure on Severnoye and Orlovka.
Let us recall that on February 17, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, said that the Defense Forces left Avdiivka to avoid encirclement by the enemy. President Volodymyr Zelensky said leaving the city was a logical and professional decision for the sake of military lives.
