In more than 400 cities around the world, Ukrainians are holding rallies on the second anniversary of Russia’s all-out invasion of Ukraine. Local residents joined them. A selection of photos from the solidarity rally in Ukraine on Saturday, February 24, was published by Ukrinform.
According to SKU, applications from activists came from more than 400 cities: from Europe, North America, UAE, India, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Peru, Brazil, Argentina.
It is reported that the events are organized as part of the international campaign promoting the World Congress of Ukrainians Stand With Ukraine and are taking place on all continents – even in Antarctica.
A large-scale rally took place in the Australian city of Sydney.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Japan presented a demonstration in support of Ukraine in the center of Tokyo (Shibuya). Protests in support of Ukraine were also held in the Japanese cities of Osaka and Nagoya.
A march took place in Bangkok with the participation of the Ukrainian community.
An action dedicated to the second anniversary of Ukraine’s opposition to Russian aggression was held in Brussels. Its participants called for more international support for Ukraine.
Romania has also joined the global campaign StandWithUkraine – many steps are underway in the capital Bucharest to draw the attention of the world community to the Russian war against Ukraine.
A procession is taking place in Milan to mark the second anniversary of Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine, with more than 2 thousand people present.
Only individual actions are mentioned, because rallies in support of Ukraine took place in many countries of the world on all continents.
The Ukrainian banner was also displayed in the center of New York in the USA.
Let’s recall that four Western leaders came to Kyiv to express solidarity with Ukraine on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Russian invasion.
