The passage of trucks and cars at the Zosin-Ustilug crossing point is carried out according to the established procedure for entry and exit.
Polish farmers temporarily stopped blocking the Zosin-Ustilug checkpoint on the Ukrainian border. The Western Regional Department of the State Border Service reported this on Saturday, February 24.
It is indicated that now, from 3.00 am, the passage of trucks and cars at the specified crossing point is carried out according to the established procedure for entry and exit.
“At the remaining checkpoints on the Polish side of the Ukrainian-Polish border, protesters continue to restrict the movement of cargo vehicles,” the press service added.
As you know, since February 9, protests by Polish farmers have continued at the border, blocking six checkpoints mainly for trucks. Also, three incidents involving dumping of Ukrainian grain have been recorded.
The day before, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal proposed to Poland a “Plan of Mutual Understanding” with five steps, designed to unblock the border amid protests by Polish farmers.
But Poland says it is far from an agreement with Ukraine.
