Anatoly Bargilevich was approved as Chief of the General Staff, Alexander Pavlyuk as Commander of the Ground Forces.
On February 21, President Vladimir Zelensky changed the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters by signing Decree No. 83.
According to the decree, the following were approved among the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters:
Bargilevich Anatoly Vladislavovich – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Pavlyuk Alexander Alekseevich – Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, the former commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Maxim Mirgorodsky, was removed from the Headquarters.
Earlier, Zelensky introduced the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky to the Headquarters and removed Valery Zaluzhny.
Let’s recall that on February 9, Zelensky appointed Anatoly Bargilevich as the new head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
