Since 2022, 25 thousand Ukrainian military personnel have received tactical medicine training from the PULSE charitable foundation. Thanks to the financial support of donors, especially the Metinvest group, the trainings are provided free of charge.
During cooperation within the framework of the military initiative “Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front”, the company allocated almost 15 million UAH for this purpose.
The PULSE Charitable Foundation was created at the beginning of the all-out invasion with the goal of saving the lives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. To achieve this, the organization promotes the development of tactical medicine, in particular, provides training. As a reliable support for the state in times of war, Metinvest supports the initiative and provides financial assistance to PULSE.
All funds are used to organize training. First of all, it allows us to provide a material and technical base for training: quality materials for training skills, logistics, and payment for instructors. Currently supporting an important cause Metinvest sent almost 15 million UAH.
To spread knowledge of tactical medicine to current and future military and reservists, PULSE also initiated the video project “Voices of Takmed”. Ukrainian artists – actors, singers, presenters – took part in it. Each of them narrated videos about critical tactical medicine skills and concepts to rescue voices that are hard to miss.
During the presentation of the project, to which the partners of the foundation were invited, PULSE co-founder Fedor Serdyuk noted the need for the systematic development of tactical medicine.
“We are working with the Ministry of Defense, with each type and branch of the military, to develop takmed capabilities. But even use all possible measures – training, building training centers, blood transfusions, etc. . – we will not solve the issue of tactical medicine if we do not win the battle inside each person. This project is exactly about this… I thank everyone who “gave” us their voices, recognized by millions to reach not only the mind, but also the heart of Ukrainians… In this project we say: make tactical medicine a part of your life, enter it into your information space,” he noted.
Among the heroes of the first series of videos are actors Bogdan Benyuk, Vyacheslav Dovzhenko, Dasha Malakhova, Anna Salivanchuk and Mikhail Kukuyuk, presenters Elena Kravets and Anatoly Anatolich, as well as the vocalist of the group ” Bez Obmezhen” Sergei Tanchynets. The authors plan to extend the filming to other famous Ukrainians in the future.
PULSE continues to work with 100 military units and institutions. Since 2022, 25 thousand Ukrainian defenders have been trained in takmed. The organization is an authorized training center of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (USA).
The military initiative of businessman Rinat Akhmetov has sent more than UAH 7.6 billion to help military and civilian Ukrainians since the beginning of the great war in Ukraine.
