As part of a bilateral security cooperation agreement, France will provide up to 3 billion euros in military assistance to Ukraine over the course of 2024.

This was announced by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Igor Zhovkva.
The office of the French president also revealed details of the signed security agreement between Ukraine and France. The agreement also includes commitments from Paris to supply more weapons and train soldiers.
Separately, the agreement provides for areas of military and security cooperation between Kyiv and Paris, including joint production of weapons, the provision of long-range weapons and combat aircraft, and cooperation in cyberspace.
Also, Ukraine and France, according to the agreement, will cooperate on the use of frozen Russian assets, sanctions against aggressor states and bringing them to justice.
Today Ukraine and France signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of security. It elaborates on the commitments made by France along with other G7 countries at the Vilnius NATO summit last July.
