On Thursday, February 15, truckers will block the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint. This will be the response to the strike of Polish farmers blocking the border with Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the public organization “Carriers of the Western Region” Vitaly Kotsenko, reports “Public”.
The organizers of the event claim that carriers from Poland will not be allowed to enter the territory of Ukraine. However, bus traffic will not be blocked. The action will continue until the Poles unblock the border on their side.
They will stand here with us in their cars until our Ukrainian carriers on their side begin to leave. After all, they let one car through per hour, and it’s not a Ukrainian, but a Polish driver,” he noted.
According to Kotsenko, the duration of the protests by Ukrainian carriers will depend on the situation on the Polish side of the border.
Let us remind you that on February 13, Polish farmers already blocked six checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. Queues of trucks formed in the directions “Yagodin”, “Ravu-Russkaya”, “Shegini”, “Ustilug”, “Ugrinov” and “Krakovets”.
