Marines planted the national flag of Ukraine on a water tower in the village of Krynki, analysts from the DeepState resource reported on February 13.
The banner was erected by soldiers of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mikhail Ostrogradsky.
The military published a video showing the Ukrainian flag flying on a tower in a populated area.
The village of Krynki is part of the Defense Forces’ bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, around which positional battles have been ongoing since the fall of 2023.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders in the Kherson direction, despite significant losses, are not abandoning attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. During February 12, the enemy made two useless assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops. At the same time, members of the Defense Forces continue to actively inflict damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment.
The enemy is also constantly bringing up reserves and carrying out assault operations, trying to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders.
Recently, in the vicinity of the village of Krynki, the Ukrainian military, using an attack drone, destroyed Russian occupiers who were driving a Chinese-made Desertcross all-terrain vehicle.
