Some units of the 110th separate mechanized brigade have already been replaced by other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The head of the brigade’s communications service, Ivan Sekach, stated this in a commentary for Radio Liberty.
We do not have sufficient capabilities to support the city, but reinforcements are coming, and we are counting on friendly units,” he noted.
The officer did not disclose information about which unit arrived in the city. However, he emphasized that this is powerful support and the defenders “felt calmer when it came.”
Sekach added that fighting for the city and surrounding area continues in Avdeevka. The overwhelmingly powerful Russian occupiers are trying to cut off the supply line.
Let us remind you that the day before the media reported that the Ukrainian command had transferred the Third Assault Brigade to Avdiivka. Experts assumed that the new forces would try to push the Russian invaders away from the main asphalt road leading to the center of Avdeevka, to Grushevsky Street.
Previously, the Ukrainian command stated that the Ukrainian armed forces in Avdiivka were holding the line and “fresh forces have already entered the battle.”
