The US Senate passed a motion to end debate on a bill to allocate aid to Ukraine and Israel.

The petition was supported by 66 senators (with the required 60). And 33 senators voted against. The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America, Oksana Markarova, announced this on Facebook on February 13.
The next step was the adoption of a motion to end the debate on the updated text of the bill HR 815 (the legislative instrument of the National Security Act of 2024), which was supported by 66 senators (with 60 required), 33 senators voted against, it says.
The bill provides for the allocation of 60 billion dollars. in support of Ukraine, $14.1 billion. to help Israel, $9.2 billion. for humanitarian aid and 4.8 billion dollars. in support of regional partners in the India-Pacific region.
The final vote on this draft law may take place on February 14. If approved by the Senate, it will go to the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
Let us recall that on February 8, the US Senate adopted a procedural decision on further consideration of the bill on the allocation of additional assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
And on February 11, the Upper House of the US Congress supported a decision to overcome the last procedural obstacle and bring closer the final vote on a bill to help these three countries totaling $96 billion.
