A judge of one of the district courts of the Odessa region is suspected of fraud and extortion. The National Police reported it.
It was learned that the suspect induced the citizen to give a bribe of $4,000 to other judges.
For the specified amount, they allegedly have to make a decision on closing administrative cases. However, the defendant disposed of the specified amount of money at his own discretion, the report said.
The judges reported the suspicion under the articles of fraud and offering, promising or giving illegal benefits to an official (part 1 of article 190, part 4 of article 27, part 3 of article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
