A night attack by suicide bombers caused a farm fire, as well as damage to vehicles and equipment.
On the night of February 9, the Russian invaders attacked the south of Ukraine with suicide bombers. In the Nikolaev region, a blow to an agricultural enterprise followed. This was reported by the press secretary of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, on the air of the telethon Unifying news and the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim on Telegram.
“In our area of responsibility, the attack was characterized by the rapid development of events. For about an hour, the air defense forces worked effectively. The concentrated attack was on direction of the Kherson region, where 4 UAVs were destroyed and one in the Nikolaev region,” said Gumenyuk.
According to him, as a result of the attack, an agricultural enterprise was also hit, a fire broke out, and it has been extinguished.
The head of the Nikolaev OVA confirms the work of air defense in the region and the hit: the enemy attacked the village of Aleksandrovka, settlement of Gorokhovsky, together with “Shaheds”.
The official added that the attack caused a fire in the farm, which damaged three trucks, a bus and warehouses, but the fire was extinguished by 6:15.
