The reason for the re-vote was the conflicts that arose in the text of the bill as a result of consideration by parliament on January 16. People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on his Telegram channel.
After it was heroically carried out on January 16 into a half-empty hall and 15 edits were rejected, the text contains collisions,” the people’s deputy noted. — Accordingly, it will now be re-voted to correct legal errors.
According to him, such actions are provided for in Article 131 of the Verkhovna Rada regulations. During tomorrow’s meeting, the Rada will consider written proposals submitted by the speaker, which reflect the essence of the inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the adopted law.
Then there will be voting for each proposal,” the people’s deputy noted. — If proposals score 226+, then they are considered taken into account. If not typed, then the text is signed in the previous form.
In addition, tomorrow the Rada will consider:
- extension of martial law and general mobilization by 90 days (bills No. 10457 and No. 10456);
- reduction of deadlines for filing alternatives to mobilization bill No. 10449.
Voting in the first reading of the latter will take place in the following days (probably February 7), Zheleznyak noted.
