Yulia Laputina’s statement will be considered at the next plenary meeting of the parliament, assured the speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.
Yulia Laputina resigned from the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. His application was received by the Verkhovna Rada, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said on Facebook on Monday, February 5.
“The Verkhovna Rada received a statement from Yulia Laputina about her resignation from the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine,” he wrote.
Stefanchuk assured that Laputina’s statement will be considered at the next plenary meeting of the Rada.
The reasons for the minister’s resignation have not yet been reported.

It is known that in 1992 Yulia Laputina joined the Security Service of Ukraine. He is an investigator in a counterintelligence unit. Later, he served as a senior officer in the Special Operations Center A of the SBU. On March 25, 2020, she received the rank of major general and became the second female general in the history of Ukraine. In December 2020, he was appointed Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
