The Foreign Secretary pointed out that the UK’s economy is 25 times bigger than Russia’s, so this would certainly show that time is on their side, and not Putin’s.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said London should do everything possible to rally other countries in support of Ukraine in the war of aggression waged by the Russian Federation against it, reports The Sunday Times. .

“Putin has suffered a major strategic defeat, and we have to stop talking about a stalemate or that time is not on Ukraine’s side,” he said during a visit to the Middle East.

The Foreign Secretary pointed out that the UK’s economy is 25 times bigger than Russia’s, so this would certainly show that time is on their side, and not Putin’s.

The minister added that he will try to convey this message to Donald Trump if he returns to the White House. He also said that “he is most concerned about Ukraine, because for me it is a challenge of our generation.”

“It was like in the 1930s, when we didn’t do enough to stop the invasion of (Nazi Germany) … Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is the most terrible example of one state invading another,” Cameron said.

Rejecting claims by the parliamentary intelligence and security committee that Britain “grossly underestimated” the threat from Russia during his 2010-2016 premiership, the Foreign Secretary said London had led calls for sanctions following the invasion by Putin in Crimea in 2014.

Let us recall that members of the British Parliament declared that the Armed Forces of the country were not sufficiently prepared to conduct a full-scale war in the event of an outbreak and that their strength could be exhausted after several months of “peer to peer” warfare .
