The defenders of Ukraine started a shooting battle and called the anti-sabotage reserves from their battalion.
Soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces stopped an attempt by a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group to cross the state border of Ukraine in the direction of Sumy. The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, announced this on February 4.
Approaching the community of Glukhiv, fighters from one of the fortresses noticed the movement of an armed group of ten people. The defenders of Ukraine started a shooting battle and called the anti-sabotage reserves from their battalion. Within minutes, the mortars joined the battle, tightly covering the area where the enemy forces were concentrated fire.
The saboteurs, having suffered losses, changed tactics and divided into two groups: one evacuated the bodies of the dead and wounded under the cover of their artillery, the second tried to bypass the strong point from the side. Meanwhile, an anti-sabotage group arrives on the battlefield.
According to Naev, the battle lasted an hour and a half, the enemy was driven far from the Ukrainian border.
It was previously reported that enemy DRGs became more active in the Sumy and Kharkov regions.
Where do hostile DRGs come in and how to avoid falling prey to them?
