According to the plan of the Russians, the occupied territories of Zaporozhye should become Russia’s second pilot project to change the ethnic composition of the population after the Far East.
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on February 3 during a telethon.
He emphasized that the occupiers threaten Ukrainians who do not want to receive Russian passports with deportation. And they are already forming applications to bring residents from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan to the occupied territories.
The enemy wants to get two “bones in the throat” at once, which almost two years of occupation are not able to cope with:

Earlier, the Russian occupiers announced the “evacuation” of the population from the temporarily occupied Novaya Kakhovka on the left bank of the Kherson region. With a high probability, deported people will be sent to depressed regions of Russia.
