Drone operators from this unit recorded the movement of a column of enemy troops. The column included a lot of equipment, including tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. After precise strikes, the Russians were missing a number of combat units. This was reported on February 2 on the Facebook page of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Cossacks.
We are no strangers to smoking enemy convoys of equipment, but still, every time this happens, we are happier than ever! – the message says.
The published footage shows Russian tanks burning, and the occupiers running and fussing, trying to hide from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As you know, the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Cossacks is a military formation of the mechanized troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The brigade was created in 2002 on the basis of the 72nd Guards Mechanized Division. Since 2014, the brigade has participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Donbass. In August 2017, the brigade was named after the military formation of the UPR times – the Black Cossacks.
Let us recall that on February 2, the Operational Command “West” showed how a Ukrainian drone destroyed a garage in which the Russian occupiers hid their military equipment.
