Chairman of the city Defense Council Alexander Vilkul announced this today, January 2, on his Facebook page.
All 113 miners are on the surface. “I thank the mine rescuers, the State Emergency Service, the management and labor teams of KZHRK and Arcelor,” he noted.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that as a result of the drone attack on Krivoy Rog:
- A fire and equipment damage was recorded at the substations of NPC Ukrenergo. As a result, overhead lines were de-energized and large-scale power outages occurred in the city;
- Also, due to a UAV attack, power equipment caught fire at one of the local enterprises.
As of this morning, some of the lines were switched on, but more than 35 thousand consumers remained de-energized. Critical infrastructure has been healed. The inspection of the consequences of the attack continues, the department notes.
