The President signed several decrees awarding state awards to 294 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky noted the work of the GUR, which hit a Russian boat in the Black Sea Ivanovets. In particular, the Ukrainian leader thanked the intelligence officers for the “accurate hit.”
“Today, by the way, the guys (GUR – editor’s note) have another accurate result – at sea. An amazing replenishment of the Russian bottom fleet. Thank you! “Said the president.
Zelensky added that he signed several decrees awarding state awards to 294 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Today I signed several new decrees on awarding state awards to our soldiers. 294 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Different brigades, different directions. But still important battles,” Zelensky said.
The president also thanked the military for their dedicated service.
“Courage, without which Ukraine cannot survive. The strength that ensures the independence of Ukraine and its own path in this world. We must thank each of our soldiers – all defenders and defenders, all strengthening the defense and helping,” added the president.
There may have been up to 40 sailors aboard the wrecked Russian missile boat Ivanovets.
