20 Russian attacks were repulsed in the direction of Avdeevsky

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion on Thursday evening, February 1.

“During the day, 58 military clashes took place. The enemy launched 2 missile strikes, one of which was a guided aircraft missile X-59, on the civilian infrastructure of Mirnograd, Donetsk region. The invaders launched also 66 air strikes, carried out. 38 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and communities. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were injured the civilian population. Private buildings and apartments, a school and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged,” the General Staff said in a statement.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

In the direction of Kupyansk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 attacks near Ivanovka, Kharkov region, where the enemy tried to break the defenses of our troops.

In the direction of Liman, an enemy attack was repulsed near Terny, Donetsk region – there the Russians also unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled an attack near Klishchievka, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian fighters repelled 15 attacks in the Avdeevka area and 5 more near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troop.

In the Maryinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy near Krasnogorevka, Georgievka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 11 times unsuccessfully to improve the tactical situation.

In the direction of Zaporozhye, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Robotiny, Zaporozhye region.

In the direction of Kherson, the enemy does not abandon his intention to dislodge the Ukrainian units from their bridges on the left bank of the Dnieper. During the day, Russian troops made 13 unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of our troops.

During the day, Defense Forces aircraft attacked 13 areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and 1 anti-aircraft missile system of the enemy.

Missile forces units hit 2 areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, 4 artillery assets and an electronic warfare station of the enemy.

On the night of February 1, the forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry destroyed a missile boat of the 41st brigade of missile boats of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the western part of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
