Since the start of the full-scale invasion, police have documented the deaths of 9.7 thousand Ukrainian civilians. Almost 7 thousand more civilians are considered missing, and the damage from the loss of housing and property of citizens exceeded UAH 40 billion. 11 thousand civilian Ukrainians were injured. The head of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Maxim Tsutskiridze, spoke about this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Among the victims were 18 thousand children, 522 minors died. Investigators opened proceedings on 14 thousand Ukrainian children, whom the occupiers deported to Russia and Belarus.
According to the head of the Main Investigations Directorate, these data relate only to territories that were not occupied by the invading forces.

The law enforcement officer also added that the Russians damaged or destroyed 3.7 thousand educational institutions, 1.6 thousand hospitals, about 9 thousand critical infrastructure facilities and 185 thousand residential buildings.
The police found that due to the full-scale war, Ukrainians lost their homes and property worth more than UAH 40 billion.
