On January 31, 207 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity – soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the National Guard Service, the National Police – privates, sergeants and officers.

The oldest of the fired defenders is already 61 years old, and the youngest will soon be 21 years old.
The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Ermak, said that our country has returned many defenders of Mariupol who were at Azovstal, Snake Island, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Lugansk, Kherson and Sumy directions.
This is the second extensive exchange after a long break, the President’s Office reported.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Ukraine handed over 195 prisoners of war.
Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets added that today the 50th prisoner exchange took place. Currently, Ukraine has managed to return 3 thousand 35 prisoners of war.
