Over the past six years, the number of Putin’s bank accounts has decreased. However, the amount of savings in them is almost four times.
The Central Election Commission of Russia has published an income declaration of President Vladimir Putin, indicating that since 2018 the Kremlin leader has earned 67 million rubles (about 29 million hryvnias). Meduza reported this on January 30.
For six years, from 2018 to 2022, Putin earned 67,591,875 rubles (approximately 28.6 million hryvnias, – ed.). This is the salary of the president of the aggressor country, income from bank deposits, securities, as well as a pension, including a military pension, and the sale of property.
In Putin’s declaration, as in 2018, when he reported to the Central Election Commission last time, it was noted that he owns a 77-meter apartment in St. Petersburg and a garage with an area of 18 square meters in the same area. .
Also, the list of cars owned by the President of the Russian Federation has not changed: two GAZ M21s, manufactured in 1960 and 1965, a VAZ 2121 in 2009, and a Skif trailer in 1987.
Putin still owns 230 shares of St. Petersburg Bank (the price of one share on the Moscow Exchange is 280.49 rubles).
It was noted that in six years the number of bank accounts registered in the name of Putin decreased from 13 to 10. However, the amount of savings in them almost quadrupled – from 13.8 million rubles to 54.4 million ( almost 23 million hryvnias). Over the past 12 years, the amount of savings has increased almost tenfold – in 2012, Putin reported that he had 5.7 million rubles in his accounts.
We remind you that Putin’s power as head of state will expire on May 7, 2024. The next presidential elections in Russia are scheduled for March 15-17. Last December, Putin announced his decision to go to the polls.
On October 7, 2023, Putin turned 71 years old. If re-elected, he would surpass Joseph Stalin in terms of time in power. According to the new constitution of the Russian Federation, he can lead the country until he is 83 years old.
