The governor of the Kaluga region claimed that “two UAVs were destroyed by air defense systems in the territory of the Dzerzhinsky region.”
The city of Kaluga in Russia was allegedly attacked on Tuesday morning, January 30, by drones. One of them was shot and fell on the territory of an oil depot. This was reported by the Russian propaganda Telegram channel Kaluga News.
As reported online, the drone was shot down over the oil depot of JSC Kaluganefteprodukt on Grabtsovskoye Highway.
The downed UAV fell on the territory of an oil depot. The Russians have traditionally said “there were no casualties or damage.”
The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, confirmed information about the attack.
“Two more UAVs were destroyed by air defense in the Dzerzhinsky region,” the Russian official assured.
Let’s remember that on the night of January 21, Ukrainian attack drones carried out a series of successful attacks on Russian territory. The SBU conducted a special operation at night at a marine terminal in the Russian Ust-Luga, Leningrad region, where fuel supplied to Russian troops is processed.
After the Ust-Luga attack, Russia was forced to move air defense systems from the front.
