The head of the OP Ermak announced this on January 29 at a press conference with the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Hungary in Uzhgorod.
However, according to him, first you need to create a general plan and only after that can you think about conversations with Russia. As European Pravda reported, Ermak believes that in order to participate in these conversations, Russia must have the political will for peace.
I want to repeat the logic of the “peace formula”: the first meeting, the first summit at the level of leaders – without the participation of Russia. Then we open up the possibility of holding separate meetings, conferences, events at different levels on all nine points out of ten to develop a plan,” said Ermak, who oversees the “peace formula” track in the OP.
Only at the second leader-level summit, when the plan is ready, will Kyiv be ready to consider inviting Russian representatives. Moreover, to participate in these conversations, Russia must have the political will for peace.
Earlier, Swiss President Viola Amherd expressed doubt that the planned global summit regarding the “peace formula” proposed by Ukraine is unlikely to become a real peace conference if the Russian Federation is not present.
Switzerland agreed to organize the second world. This happened on January 15 during Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to Bern.
