The dates for the NMT will not be known to the general public; each applicant will find out their testing date personally. This was reported to the Ministry of Education and Science.
The main session of NMT will begin in May, the largest number of test days of the main session will be in May and June.
An additional session will take place in July. It will be held for participants who, for objective reasons, will not be able to take part in the main session.
This year’s school leavers will take a national multi-subject test after the end of the school year. From May 14, graduates of previous years will take the NMT.
Taking this into account, all graduates of this year will have the opportunity to obtain the full amount of knowledge provided for in the curriculum.
How will NMT happen?
The break between two two-hour blocks of the national multi-subject test will last 20 minutes. In general, the four-hour test will consist of two two-hour blocks, separated by a 20-minute break.
The first block will contain tasks on the Ukrainian language and mathematics, the second block after the break will contain tasks on the history of Ukraine and a subject of choice.
When completing tasks of one block within 120 minutes (60+60), the NMT participant will be able to move between tasks.
That is, if a participant completes a task in the Ukrainian language in less than 60 minutes, then he will have more time for mathematics, or vice versa, if a NMT participant completes tasks in the Ukrainian language longer, then he will have less time for mathematics.
The first block is Ukrainian language and mathematics (120 minutes).
The second block is the history of Ukraine and an elective subject (120 minutes).
