On June 19, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published the daily summary of the night of the 106th day of confrontation with the Russian aggression.
In the direction of Volyn and Polesye, several units of the Belarusian armed forces are conducting tasks to cover the Ukrainian border, provide fortifications in the Gomel region, and conduct electronic intelligence.
In the direction of Seversk, units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to provide positions on the borders of the Kursk region. The build-up of the air defense system on the territory of the Bryansk region was noted.
In the direction of Kharkiv, the enemy intensively fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops from cannon and rocket artillery. The occupiers tried to conduct a reconnaissance in force in the Rubizhnoye settlement area, but they were unsuccessful.

In the Slavic direction, the enemy did not take active actions. The main effort of the enemy was focused on the accumulation of resources with the aim of further offensive in the direction of the city of Slavyansk. The enemy fired on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and conducted an aerial reconnaissance of the Orlan-10 UAV.
No active actions of the occupiers were recorded in the direction of Limansk.
In the direction of Severodonetsk, the enemy is conducting round-the-clock aerial reconnaissance using drones. Conducting offensive operations to establish full control over the city of Severodonetsk, the battle continues, the enemy has no victory.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy launched airstrikes using Ka-52 helicopters near Yakovlevka and missile strikes in the areas of Maiskoye, Dolomitnoye, Zaitsevo and New York.
On the eastern outskirts of the village of Berestovo, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the enemy attack.
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the directions of Avdeevsky, Kurakhovsky, Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhye. In the direction of Avdiivka, there was an increase in the intensity of artillery shelling of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the direction of Yuzhnobuzh, the enemy shot at the peaceful communities of Limany, Luparevo, Novaya Zarya, Tavrichesky, Novogrigorovka, Belousovo, Knyazhevka, Topolino, Bolshaya Kostromka and Osokorovka. The opponent improves the engineering equipment of the first and second lines of defense.
The occupiers were building an air defense system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.
The units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict huge losses on enemy troops and continue to hold the defense in all directions.
Earlier, authorities said the Armed Forces of Ukraine was approaching Melitopol and Kherson.
