The flight recorders were taken to a military laboratory in Moscow, where their decoding began. Both “black boxes” must be decrypted. This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS.
Meanwhile, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrei Yusov, said on the telethon that in order to find out the cause of the plane crash, it is necessary to study the remains of the Il-76, “black boxes”. However, the aggressor country excludes the possibility of creating an international commission.
Let us remind you that on January 24, an Il-76 military transport plane crashed in the Belgorod region of Russia. Russia stated that there were allegedly 65 prisoners, six crew members and three accompanying persons on the plane. The occupiers blamed Ukraine for the sinking of the ship, but refuse to involve international experts in the investigation.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense stated that this aircraft had previously delivered missile weapons to the airfield in Engels and to Belgorod itself. Intelligence does not rule out the possibility that the Russian Federation could use Ukrainian prisoners of war, in fact, as human shields for transporting ammunition and weapons for missile systems.
The United Nations has not yet been able to determine whether there were Ukrainian prisoners of war on board the Il-76 aircraft.
