Russia is trying to “stop the war” in Ukraine by armed means, Vladimir Putin has said cynically.
Russia has started an aggressive war against the Ukrainian people to protect its interests and seems to have no other motive. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, January 26, at a meeting with students who are killing Ukrainians in front instead of studying.
“There are no other considerations except one – protecting Russia’s interests. When the issues are resolved, there can be no other motives,” Putin said.
He repeated his cynical words that Russia did not seem to have started the war.
“They (the authorities of Ukraine – ed.) themselves started the war in Donbass. This is an attempt to stop this war by armed means. We will achieve the implementation of the tasks and goals we set,” said of the President of Russia.
Vladimir Putin believes that in 2014 in Ukraine “they began to physically exterminate everyone who was committed to normal relations” with Russia.
“It’s genocide, there’s no other way to call it. Russians were declared a non-titular nation there – the law was passed – on our historical territories,” he complained.
According to Putin, more than 600 thousand Russians are now fighting against Ukraine, and “the battle area is large – about 2 thousand kilometers.”
Earlier, Vladimir Putin made a cynical statement that in 2014, the war in Ukraine was apparently started by the United States, and not Russia, which annexed Ukrainian Crimea and started a hybrid war in Donbass.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the Ukrainian people will never forgive Putin and his entourage for unleashing a full-scale war.
