There were battles for every house in the city – with the advancement of either Ukrainian military personnel or Russian occupiers.
Special Operations Forces combat groups, along with other units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, continue to fight for Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, the SSO press service reported on June 19.
The military published a short story about the fighters on this side of the front. It was noted that the tactics of the occupiers in Severodonetsk were “scorched earth”.
First, the Russians bombed the entire territory with a large number of shells, regardless of whether there were Ukrainian troops or civilians there. All sorts of weapons available are used, wiping out communities on the face of the earth. After the enemy advances, they release artillery and proceed the same way.

Despite this, the Ukrainian military in Severodonetsk continued to hit. The occupiers could not drive the Ukrainian fighters out of the city: the fight continued for every house – with the advance of either the Ukrainian military personnel or the Russian occupiers.
At the end of last week, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that in the near future the occupiers will try to resume offensive operations with the duty to take Severodonetsk under full control to push our units on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River.
Earlier defenders of Ukraine from the International Legion showed how they conducted street battles with the occupiers of Severodonetsk.
