Britain has called on its allies to double military aid to Ukraine so it can defend itself against Russian aggressors. “Our response must be one of strength, stability and unity. It is time to redouble our support so that Ukraine not only wins the war, but also emerges from it as a strong, sovereign and independent country,” he said.
The British ambassador emphasized that “Russia’s efforts aimed at destroying international stability must and will be stopped.”
“If we allow Russia to destroy this stability, the risks for the OSCE region and the world will be great,” he added.
The diplomat emphasized that the UK “supports Ukraine in its efforts to defend itself and will continue to provide unwavering support until Kyiv wins.”
