“The UK supports Ukraine in its efforts to defend itself and will continue to provide strong support for Ukraine until it wins.”

Britain has called on its allies to double military aid to Ukraine so it can defend itself against Russian aggressors. This was said on Thursday, January 25, by the British Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Neill Holland, at a meeting of the Permanent Council of this organization on Thursday in Vienna, reports Ukrinform.

Speaking to representatives of other countries, he indicated that 700 days have passed since Russia’s unprovoked, illegal, full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which caused huge losses to the people of Ukraine.

“Our response must be one of strength, stability and unity. It is time to redouble our support so that Ukraine not only wins the war, but also emerges from it as a strong, sovereign and independent country,” he said.

The British ambassador emphasized that “Russia’s efforts aimed at destroying international stability must and will be stopped.”

“If we allow Russia to destroy this stability, the risks for the OSCE region and the world will be great,” he added.

The diplomat emphasized that the UK “supports Ukraine in its efforts to defend itself and will continue to provide unwavering support until Kyiv wins.”

We remind you that Mike Johnson said that the issue of providing additional financial assistance to Ukraine will be resolved only after the Mexican border crisis is resolved.
