Ukraine will not change its principles and will not change its territories, no matter how much someone wants it, the head of the National Security and Defense Council emphasized.
Talks that in the event of some electoral processes that will take place in the USA, Great Britain and the European Union, aid will be cut to Ukraine are not true. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, said this on Thursday, January 25, in a commentary on Channel 24.
“Ukraine will never disappear from the radar of the international community, because we are fighting not only for our right to freedom. We are now fighting on our territory for freedom, in particular, for Europe. And everyone knows it,” he emphasized.
At the same time, he pointed out that due to the various political processes taking place in each country separately, help may come to Ukraine with a delay. In turn, this affects the situation at the front.
“We really want everything to be fine in the near future. We are a country that stands for its freedom and independence. We do not exchange principles and do not exchange our territories, no matter how much someone wants it,” Danilov added .
He noted that Russia periodically blackmails the world into using nuclear weapons “in the event of a threat.” However, according to the NSDC Secretary, these threats have no effect on responsible politicians.
We remind you that the 18th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine took place in the Ramstein format. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that the participants of the regular meeting discussed the issue of increasing the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine and the adaptation of Western-style anti-aircraft missiles to the launch platforms of the Soviet, as well as increased production. of bullets.
