Along with him, the head of the board of Alliance Bank, Yulia Frolova, and the former director of the department of the settlement administrator of Ukrenergo, Dmitry Kondrashov, are wanted.
Three of them are suspected of involvement in a scheme to seize electricity from PJSC NEK Ukrenergo for more than UAH 716 million and launder the funds received from its sale.
On January 24, Kiperman was arrested in absentia. The High Anti-Corruption Court detained Kolomoisky’s business partner in absentia.
At the meeting, the SAPO prosecutor read out correspondence allegedly confirming Kiperman’s control over United Energy LLC and other companies involved in the investigation.
The decision was made by VAKS investigative judge Lesya Fedorak. The decision can be appealed to the HACS Appeals Chamber.
