Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland, General Wieslaw Kukula.

During the conversation, the military discussed the situation at the front, as well as security risks. The Ukrainian general spoke about the operational situation at the front and how the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold defense areas and destroy manpower and equipment of the Russian invaders. Zaluzhny announced this on January 25 on Telegram.
During the conversation, the issue of training Ukrainian military personnel in Poland, as well as the exchange of combat experience, was raised. Zaluzhny also invited Kukula to Ukraine to work together in brigades and control centers.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces told the Polish general about how the Defense Forces are countering Russian missile attacks and emphasized that strengthening the capabilities of the Ukrainian air defense system is extremely important.
In addition, the Ukrainian general thanked his Polish partners for their support and assistance.
Let us recall that recently the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, together with the Chief of the General Staff Sergei Shaptala, worked for several days in the areas of responsibility of the operational-strategic groupings of troops Tavria and Odessa.
