A rescue operation is underway in Ukraine after another Russian attack, the head of state said.
Russian missile attacks on Ukraine are deliberate terrorism directed against the civilian population. President Vladimir Zelensky wrote this on Telegram on Tuesday, January 23.
“The rescue operation continues after another Russian attack against our cities and people – deliberate terror against ordinary residential buildings in Kyiv, Kharkov, Pavlograd. Unfortunately, there were casualties and deaths, Zelensky said.
He noted that currently 22 people are known to have been injured as a result of enemy shelling in Kyiv. In Kharkov, due to the Russian attack, according to the latest data, five people died and 51 people, including four children, were injured. 27 people were rescued from the rubble. Another person died in Pavlograd.
“Our brave saviors, those who are always the first to arrive at enemy firing sites, despite all the difficulties, continue their very important work to save people. Thank you to all our defenders and defenders , workers and workers of all emergency services, all simple-hearted people feel that he has to take care of others, he has to help others when life depends on it,” added the head of state.
We remind you that today the Russians launched a joint missile attack on Ukraine. The S-300 anti-aircraft system, Kh-32 cruise missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles were used. Air defense units fired 21 missiles.
