On Tuesday night in the city of Mukachevo, an unknown person threw a grenade into the yard of a deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council. The National Police reported it on January 23.
It was indicated that today at about 4:00 am the main central monitoring station of the security police received an alarm signal from a private house in Mukachevo.
A police squad arrived at the scene. It turned out that the owner of the house was a representative of the Transcarpathian Regional Council. The “panic button” was pressed by a security guard who heard the sound of an explosion in the yard.
Investigators and forensic experts arrived at the scene. It turns out that an unknown person threw a grenade into the yard. No one was injured due to the explosion.
Investigators classified the incident as intentional damage to other people’s property, committed by explosion (Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
We remind you that on December 15, in Transcarpathia, in the building of the Keretskovsky village council, a deputy exploded three grenades at the very session meeting. About 23 people were injured in the explosions, including the suspect. Two victims later died from their wounds as a result of the grenade explosion.
