A National Guard serviceman was detained on suspicion of committing a crime. The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported this today, January 22.
It is noted that yesterday, January 21, in the morning in Liman, a local resident called an investigative team because of a conflict with a serviceman.
After some time, communication with the police officers who responded to the call disappeared, and at 8 a.m. another group went to the scene. At the scene of the tragedy, law enforcement officers found the bodies of two of their colleagues with gunshot wounds and the bodies of two civilian women – a pensioner and her daughter, the department noted.
A National Guard serviceman was detained without delay on suspicion of premeditated murder.
Within the framework of criminal proceedings opened under paragraph 1 of part 2 of art. 115 (premeditated murder) and Art. 348 (attack on the life of a law enforcement officer) of the Criminal Code, a set of measures is being taken to establish the objective circumstances of the incident.
The pre-trial investigation continues. A number of relevant examinations have been appointed, notes the DBR.
