In particular, in the Bakhmut direction, fighters of the Lugansk detachment from the Stugna anti-tank complex destroyed the occupiers’ BMP-2. They targeted the enemy vehicle, despite the fact that the distance to the target was about 4 km. The State Border Service reported this on January 21.
As you know, the Stugna anti-tank missile system has successfully destroyed not only Russian equipment and infantry since the beginning of a full-scale war, but also, in some cases, helicopters.
The military says that it is possible to work on this complex at any time of the day, because it is equipped with an electron-optical converter or a thermal imager. “Stugna” is quite mobile because the launcher weighs only 40 kg. Another 30 kg is the weight of the rocket. To use and move it, a team of several people is enough.
Let us recall that in December last year, Defense Force fighters from the 79th separate air assault brigade using the Stugna-P ATGM destroyed a column of enemy armored vehicles near Marinka, Donetsk region.
