Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon visit North Korea. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported this on Sunday, January 21.
It is reported that DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Song Hui arrived in Russia on January 15-17 at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He also met with Putin.
“President Putin again expressed deep gratitude for the fact that the head of state affairs, Comrade Kim Jong-un, invited him to visit Pyongyang at a convenient time, and also expressed his willingness to visit the DPRK in the near future,” the statement said.
North Korea assured that they “warmly welcome President Putin’s visit” and are also “wholeheartedly ready to welcome the closest friend of the Korean people.”
According to Russian media, the press secretary of the Russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, said earlier this week that the Kremlin hopes that Vladimir Putin’s visit to the DPRK will take place in the “near future.” The dates were agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
Let’s recall that in September 2023, Putin and Kim Jong-un met at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. They talked on a tour of the cosmodrome, then held negotiations with the participation of delegations, and then face to face. The final point was the official reception in honor of the leader of North Korea, where Eun drank to Putin’s health.
Shortly thereafter, the DPRK began supplying Russia with shells on a large scale. We are talking about a million bullets.
The Russians have also received ballistic missiles from North Korea and have fired them at Ukraine.
