This was reported today, January 20, on the Facebook page of the Special Operations Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During reconnaissance in the Southern direction, the crew of the BpAK of the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center discovered the Fara-PV portable radar station. As a result of fire damage from an attack drone, the enemy’s radar station was destroyed, the report says.
The published video shows how an enemy radar station detected from the air, installed in one of the buildings, is targeted with a precision strike by a drone.
“Fara-PV” is a short-range radar station. It is designed to conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the movement of people and equipment in hard-to-reach areas, as well as in conditions of limited visibility.
